I was very pleased to hear from Mr.O that you are very fine and found a job and a "good" friend in Jakarta. Thank you very much for your gift you asked him to give to me.
In Japan, it is time for job hunting for students graduating next spring.
The examinations of companies started in the beginning of this month.
About 50 students want to find their job in our Division and about 90% of them have found their job until today.
Shingo is one of the 90%.
I hope the rest of the students can also find their job in a few weeks.
Four students are coming to my group from abroad and four Japanese students in my group are going abroad to study there for some months.
Toko is one of them.
I wanted to give my students international experiences and started exchanging students with foreign universities when I became the head of my group.
I feel nostalgic when I think about students in the early time of my group like you.
After three flights back, I arrived in Australia on Sunday morning! It was ちょお へん not to see snow anymore - I was too used to it! Haha. I was also too used to using chopsticks, I had to ask the flight attendant on my last flight if they had chopsticks - unfortunately they didn't. Haha!
It was very good seeing all my friends and family here though :) I can't wait until I sort through all the photos taken, so they can see what I have been up to in the last six weeks. I started university on Monday, and instantly missed LSC! Thank you all again for the amazing experience! It was すばらし! I will be forever grateful for your wonderful hospitality and making me feel apart of your laboratory :) I am still too used to the Japanese culture, that it may take a while before I stop constantly nodding and saying 'はい!’ Haha.
